The Death of Switzerland

The Swiss complain (mind you, not here), that once roadwork has finished, they instantly start to dig up the same road again. They complain about littering places, streets and trains. They complain about going to the French part of Switzerland and no-one would speak German. They don’t complain about the politicians, because they join them with bashing the lefts, the rights and the one in the middle. They are definitely no racists, because they can prove that all immigrants are criminal and therefore, they all should leave Switzerland. The Swiss don’t complain about late trains, but about youngsters, mothers with (crying) babies, elderly people walking to slow. Railway police was introduced to keep unemployment low and not because of rising numbers of attacks in trains and train stations. Swiss are convinced, it is more important to have a lot of money on Swiss bancs than ask about the  background of the money. And yes, the Swiss are World Champion in finding samples. If you attack our long-gone Heidi-Chocolate-Alps image, you can be sure that we instantly can hit back and tell you, that you are even worse.

Do not start to question the Swiss – we do not want to eliminate unemployment, because your unemployment rate is higher, anyway. We do not want do eliminate racism, because we can prove, that there is more racism in your country. Why should our trains run more accurate, yours run even later. We might have a lot of roadwork, but your roads can never reach our standard. We learn French at school and as long as nobody tries to speak French with us, we are definitely better than you, because you never will try to understand our Swiss-German. But the worst thing you can do, is to criticise our democracy. We have direct democracy, which means, I can decide what happens and believe me, I know what is best for our community, county and country, even if it takes 10 to 15 years to take effect and last but not least – it is not important what I do, it is more important to stop (which way does not matter) my political opponents.

Your death sin is to hold up a mirror which shows crackles in our believes. As long as there is a place with less democracy, more racism, more unemployment, later trains, dirtier roads you are not allowed to doubt on Swiss efficency.
